Allan creates useful services or platforms that revolves around design, technology and data. He designs for innovation by solving for users’ pain points, with consideration of implementation viability, risk factor and business impact.
A designer by trade, he has a total of 8 years worth in digital + UX design. He has been in charge of design, research, prototyping, unlocking innovation, managing design resources when necessary, liaising with stakeholders and as well as developers (agile or waterfall) to build digital services and experiential platforms such as mobile apps, websites, digital campaigns and even on-ground experiential events. In short, he sees the product through end-to-end of the brand and the product for the best of the customer.
Brands that he worked with includes Samsung, P&G, Microsoft, Adidas, Huawei, Shell, Nestle, Energizer, MINI, Audi and Singtel. Currently, he working in UOB, he builds the future of banking.
He volunteers to give back in design or non-profit events and also is an avid financial investor. He is also connecting and collaborating closely in Fintech and various emerging technologies communities to create the best possibilities.

User first. Listens to our users, build relationships, spending humanly time to understand them, their pain points, to understand why they do what they do, and to conjure deep meaningful insights and to create value for them.
Henry Ford once said:“If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.” – What do people need, without even know they need? I come out with innovative ideas that could solve the problem in the way that not just make things slightly better, but good enough that it actually creates new value for our users, in a way that is useful, usable and desirable. Ideas also considers the execution in terms of feasibility, business impact, resources and timeline.
Failures and rejections simply just directs and moves me into bigger and better things. It also helps me learn fast, to help me achieve my best potential. The optimistic and continuous pursue to make things better, to make lives better, with iterations and even better, creating new needs, changing the rules of the game. To be curious, to learn and re-learn, through a collaborative and constructive synergy with others.
